How did the football season go for your team?
“Our season didn't go the way we would've hoped. We finished out the season 2-7, and 1-6 in district games. We were pretty young this year, but I think we had more talents than what we showed.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“As far as workouts, I'm staying in the weight room all spring and summer. I’ll be doing a lot of camps this summer.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“This off-season I'm trying to work on get shiftier, as well as really trying to work on footwork.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“Next season, the goal has to be a district title. We've missed the playoffs for the last six years, so we're really working so we can experience post season football.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I don't know a whole lot about our new district, but I think BGM is always a pretty good team. There is also a potential non-district game against Lynnville-Sully.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I definitely want to play college football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“As for recruitment, Iowa State and UNI coaches have come to school to invited me to their summer camps. Also, I have gotten some letters from William Penn, Yale, and Simpson.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“As far as which one is most interested, I'm not sure. I've only had scattered conversations with them. I think that playing well and showing how competitive I am at these summer camps will hopefully help out.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven't taken any college trips yet. I probably will start this spring.”

“I am going to UNI, ISU, maybe Iowa's camp this summer, and our team camp.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I've always been a Hawkeye, but that won't impact my college choice. I just need a program that will let me compete for them and do what I love.”
