How did the high school football season go overall?
“My team and I failed to have a winning record at the end of the season, but I think we were all happy to be able to play together and have a full season.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans are to gain weight by working out every day and eating healthier.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I would like to improve as a team leader and focus on helping the team rather than my own growth.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we will have a target on our back with some of the wins we had this year, but I think the team will continue to grow as much as we have the past few years and we definitely are working towards winning the district and beyond next season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I feel like West Marshall will be some good competition next year. They have a powerful offense and have some guys coming back, but we have some real explosive players coming back also so I think that will be a very fun/competitive game.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I am very interested in playing football at the next level. It has been a dream of mine since I could hold a football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“With being a junior and the season just now being completed, I now feel I have credible highlights of what I feel I have to offer on both offense and defense for the first time. I haven't reached out to any schools or provided them with any game footage. I have received contact information from OBU college in Shawnee, Oklahoma and also Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln Nebraska. I have also attended camps at Iowa State University, University of Northern Iowa, and Wartburg College.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Not at this time.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, me and my family have always cheered on Iowa State because my uncle was on the football team in the early 2000s.”
