How did the high school football season go overall?
“Overall, the season went pretty well. It didn’t end the way we wanted it to but the experience of playing for back-to-back state titles is amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better team.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans for sports now are to play basketball, run track, and play baseball in the summer. My workouts will consist of 3 times a week for the rest of the year.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel our team will be pretty good overall next year. We have a lot of seniors and leaders to replace. There will be a lot of new faces in the game and I believe they will step up and embrace their new roles.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I’m not sure which team will be the toughest on our schedule next year because the districts are changing.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Like that last one the districts are changing so I’m not sure who will be the best player we will face.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to be able to play football in college. It’s always been a dream of mine to play at the next level ever since I was a kid. I believe I’ll find the right school for me and enjoy playing the sport.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Some of the colleges that I have been talking to are Grandview, Iowa, and Central College.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet. I planned on going on a few this fall but because of Covid, those didn’t work out.”

“I plan on going on a few visits this spring when things clear up a little bit more with Covid.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college ever since I was a kid was Iowa. I’ve been watching Iowa play for as long as I can remember for both football and basketball. It’s always been a dream of mine to be able to play for the black and gold.”
