How did the high school football season go overall?
“We were 3-6 overall. In the last 2 years, Grinnell has only won two games combined. We have definitely made progress, but we would’ve obviously liked to win a few more games.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I plan on playing basketball, baseball, and track. I also plan to keep working out, getting stronger, improving my footwork, and gaining weight.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Getting stronger, faster, gaining weight, and continuing to be a leader.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like we will definitely be better next year. We have fifteen returning starters and I think having that experience will be huge.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think our toughest games will be Oskaloosa, Newton, and Pella.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“It has always been my dream to play college football. It would be amazing to get that opportunity.”

What colleges have been recruiting you
“Grand View and Iowa State. I went up to a few camps at Iowa State this summer. I talked to some coaches and had a great time.”

Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“Hopefully, I can attend an Iowa or Iowa State game.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I would probably have to say Iowa was my favorite because I lived in Iowa City for six years. I have also liked Iowa State as well because my dad has had former players play for them and I really like the culture there.”
