What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Off season workouts have been off to a great start. I thank the amazing coaches we have here for that. In terms of what we are doing for those workouts. Getting bigger in the weight room is a big goal of mine for this off season. Lifting five times a week has been helping me with that. Another key to this off season for me would be getting to every workout/open gym/throwing I can. You can't get better sleeping in. That was a big preaching point in my development as an athlete.”
What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“Going into my senior year and following a big 2021 class has proved to me that I need to step up as a leader on my teams. I think that I have been able to come into a leadership position better than I expected and I also think that is what I improved on most so far.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Our football team is going to be solid this year. We have a lot of multi-sport athletes that know how to compete. There are some guys that are ready to have break out seasons and I am excited for that. The biggest part about our team is the family and culture we built. Everyone wants to compete together.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I believe every game on our schedule is a 50/50 ball game. There are some good teams that we will compete with this year but as a team we want to leave it all out on the field.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Caden Mattson is a tough player from Humboldt. We played him last year and he was good. I'm looking forward to getting to play against him again though. No backing down from challenges here.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“If the right college reached out to me, I would love to play college sports. Any sport in college would be a dream come true. Coming from a family full of athletes and seeing my brother go off to play college football next year, makes me so much more determined to reach that dream.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven't made any visits yet this summer. Just waiting to see what the rest of the summer holds for me.”
Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
