How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“I loved it, it was a lot of fun playing for the Minnesota Lightning, my teammates were all great and all different. I got a lot of experience playing against good competition and I think it will show this year.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Right now I’m getting in the gym everyday weightlifting and as I transition from football to basketball I will start doing more running and playing ball and less lifting.”
How do you feel your team will do next basketball season?
“I’m excited for the season, it's my junior year and I’m very confident in what we can do. I'm expecting a lot and am hoping to get top 2 in the conference and make a run in the playoffs.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I’m very excited for the Lake Mills match up. They are a good team and they’ve beaten us the past couple years so I’m hoping to get some revenge.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“A couple guys came to mind. Wyatt Helming from Lake Mills is one of them but I’m always excited to see the new players when we get to the playoffs.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’ve always wanted to play college basketball on scholarship and I think that it’s not that far out of reach for me but I don’t think that I am capable of playing football at the college level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far no colleges have reached out to me but I’ve been to a couple showcases and I think that in time they will come so I’m not that worried about it.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“No colleges are recruiting me that I know of right now.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not yet but I will be making some this year and I want to see Iowa State and another one that I liked was Iowa Central.”

“I will be at a Courtside Films camp Oct 23 in Cedar Rapids.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I grew up an Iowa fan and I love them in football and basketball but I also just love watching any college basketball or football.”
