How did the basketball season go for your team?
“I think it went pretty well. We were the smallest school in 3A and we faced Waverly (in the playoffs) who got third at state.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Since the winter, I’ve been in track and staying in shape. I’ve been using the gun at school.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“Probably a 15-foot pullup and then penetration to attack more.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We are going to be pretty good. A lot of our starters are returning. We’ll be as good if not better next year.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Probably against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura.”

Do you want to play basketball in college?
“Yes.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have not had any colleges contacting me for basketball.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“We are doing the team camps at UNI and Drake.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“In third grade, I had my appendix taken out at Iowa Children’s hospital. My dad’s work got free tickets to Iowa State. I don’t have a specific school that I love more than the other.”
