How has the football season been going for your team?
“It has been pretty good so far. Our goal is to make the playoffs. If we win out, we can make the playoffs and that is the goal.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“I would say our offense line is a big key. We have to be able to run the ball and keep the defense out of the backfield. That helps to open up the pass game.”
What do you know about your next opponent in AP?
“They are a very good football team that pounds the rock. Sam Thorn will get 30-40 carries so stopping the run is a big thing. If we are able to stop the run against them, I think we have a good chance to win.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Southwest Minnesota State is showing the most interest. I went on a visit there a couple weeks ago to check out things and they are most interested Division II wise. Simpson is showing interest for both basketball and football. I am not worried about that. It will come with time.”
Do you have a sporting preference?
“I would say I am getting the most interest and have the best chance in football. That is probably where I would be leaning right now. I am still hoping to see more for basketball but it depends on how the year goes.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say Southwest Minnesota State. Their coaches reach out to me probably one or two times a week to see how I’m doing and ask about my games.
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“The only one I’ve taken has been to Southwest Minnesota State. I don’t have anything planned for the future.”
