How did the basketball season go for your team?
“I feel personally it went better than expected. We graduated a lot so no one thought we’d do much. Our team believe and we accomplished a lot.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I used to be in track but that got hard with AAU basketball. I stopped doing track and am actually golfing right now to take the stress off of my body. I’m playing AAU on weekends.”
How do you expect your Corn Sharks team to do this off-season?
“I feel we have a lot of good pieces. Our point guard, Trey Hinote, is pretty good. I feel we complement each other well.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I believe we have a lot of holes to fill. We graduated both of our bigs this year. We lack size but we’ll surprise some people.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“We are trying to schedule Grand View Christian as one of our non-conference games. I am excited for that game. Des Moines Christian is still usually good. Van Meter made it to state and didn’t graduate anyone. That’ll be pretty good.”
Do you want to play basketball in college?
“Yes, that is definitely on my mind. A goal for me is to make it to the next level.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There has just been some emails about camps and letters from Briar Cliff.”
What schools have sent emails?
“It has just been schools around the state. Nothing too serious.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I was a big Iowa State fan when I was little. For Division II schools, I really like Northwest Missouri State.”
