How is the basketball season going?
“I feel we are playing alright. We are young so we have had more turnovers but that is expected. We should have won our second, but I feel that we will do more.”

What can your team improve on?
“Definitely transition defense along with rebounding. We just need to take care of the ball in general.”

What do you know about your next opponent in Van Meter?
“Obviously they are the #1 team in 2A and we are in 1A. That would be huge if we can pull it off. They have big guys and their guards are good. They have everything you want in a basketball team. They play well together.”

What are the keys to team your team excelling for the rest of the year?
“Our defense has got to pick it up a notch. We have to pressure teams and make them turn the ball over. That is what I think will make us the most successful.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I get stuff from Briar Cliff in the mail pretty regularly. There are just some emails and a couple of letters from some other schools. It is stuff like that.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Definitely right now, it is Briar Cliff. They are sending me the most stuff.”

What other colleges have shown interest?
“Augustana has sent me a letter in the mail about a camp. There has also been Nebraska Wesleyan, Concordia, and Iowa Central.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven’t looked into that. I’ll try going during the season if I can get a night off.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State for sure but I am realistic with my expectations. I don’t think I’d be able to play there.”
