What did it mean to know that you’ll be playing at state this week?
“It is the first time in school history making state and that was one of our biggest goals for the year. I think we can definitely make a run at state. Our season is not done yet and we are not satisfied.”
What do you know about your opponent in Cedar Rapids Kennedy?
“They are definitely a good team. They have made it to state three of the past four years. We are just going to watch some of their film and create a game plan. Hopefully we can execute and get a win.”
What do you know about their players?
“Derrick Diggins comes to mind right away. He can score very well. Drake Brewster is a big that can shoot the three and midrange. He gets offensive rebounds as well. We got to keep those guys in check and worry about the other guys afterwards.”
What are the keys that will determine the winner?
“Whatever team comes out with the most energy will be that. If we are the more mature team who comes out with more discipline, we will come out with the win.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Just Upper Iowa and Platteville have been recruiting me during the whole season.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I guess last spring I visited each of the schools.”

“Not quite. I am going to finish the season and take it from there.”
