How was your trip for junior day at Miami Ohio?
“My trip to Miami was well worth the travel. We had to hop on a couple of planes and drive from Cincinnati to Oxford. We had a great time. We met some great people and learned some great things about football.”
What was your schedule during the day?
“My schedule was arriving at the new indoor practice facility. We met the coaches and started our visit. They took us on a bus all over campus and we stopped at each place and we saw where the dorms were. The head coach addressed us and after his talk, we divided up according to position. We went to lunch and then had a presentation at their meeting rooms. We also got a presentation from their strength and conditioning coach in the weight room.”
What was your favorite part of the trip?
“My favorite part of the trip was the coaches. They are really good people. They get down to the point.”
How were the coaches at Miami Ohio?
“The coaches were serious, and they knew what they want. They are turning around a program and in a great way.”
Did they say anything to where you stand with them as a recruit?
“They have told me that they are into me and that they are waiting for spring evaluations. I will be evaluated for what they want to do with me as a recruit.”
What other visits do you have coming up?
“I am going to go up to Iowa State soon to see them and watch a basketball game. I have some Iowa coaches I will talk with soon in the spring. I can’t wait to do either of those.”
What schools are recruiting you overall?
“Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, Miami of Ohio, and Simpson. I have gotten followed or contacted by Concordia of St. Paul, Oklahoma Baptist, NDSU, SDSU, the University of Sioux Falls, North Dakota, Harvard, Dartmouth, and I was invited to Columbia for a camp this summer.”
What does your summer camp schedule look like, as of now?
“I do not have any camps planned as of right now. I do know I will be attending a Rivals Camp to get my name out and show I can roll with any level.”
