What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“For off season workouts as of late, I have been playing a lot of baseball as well as getting together with receivers and other defensive backs on my team for 1v1 work. I have also been working out at IAP athletics run by Ryan Smith.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like I’ve improved on my ability to break down the most, and also my man to man coverage.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Something I am still trying to improve on is getting in and out of my breaks as fast as possible.”

How has Covid-19 factored into your workouts?
“COVID-19 has factored into my workouts by me not being able to work out with my team for this coming fall, and not being able to get into our schools weight room.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I have a very good feeling about our team come this fall and I am most excited to see how well our defense does against the teams on our schedule.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I feel the toughest competition on our schedule this year is Valley because they always play us tough, and there is a lot of bad blood in our rivalry.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against this fall?
“I think the toughest individual our team will face off against this fall will be Mathew Mahoney from WDM Valley.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“If I was presented with the right opportunity, then I would love to continue to play football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Some colleges that have been recruiting me have been Morningside, Loras, Simpson, Wayne State, Iowa Western, Iowa Central, Missouri Western State, and Bemidji State University.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any on campus visits yet mostly due to COVID-19 ruining this experience so far, and me being in the middle of baseball season as well.”

Do you have any plans for late camps this summer?
“I plan on attending Wayne State’s camp, maybe Missouri Western’s camp, and the college coaches showcase camp.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up and still to this day is the University of Iowa, as well as the University of North Carolina.”
