How has the preparation been going for this upcoming season?
“Preparing for this season has been extremely fun with my teammates. We put in a ton of time in the weight room and everyone has gotten bigger faster and stronger.”
What are your goals for the season?
“Goals that we have are just taking things one step at a time. Our motto is one mission, which means you have one mission each day, whether that would be getting better at a skill or handling your schoolwork.”
What areas do you feel your team needs to improve on?
“Obviously, we lost a lot of senior talent last year so it will be fun to see how our young guys step up and the guys that haven’t seen a lot of varsity time.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We play Denver and they are always so tough so it will be exciting.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Teams such as Wartburg, Upper Iowa, and Iowa Central have all reached out to me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I went to Iowa State’s football camp and that went really well.”

“I plan to take trips this fall.”
