What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“We just finished up our spring lifting and speed and agility programs and we’re in the middle of our dead week right now. Summer lifting starts back up again next week.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Personally, I think I’m just getting stronger and bigger than I was before.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Before the season comes around, we need to build more of a family atmosphere within our team.”

How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I think that our team can make a deep playoff run this year with the guys we have stepping up to fill the spots that are needed. I have faith in our guys, and they are more than ready to get a chance to play. They all have been working harder than anybody else and are ready to show it on Friday nights.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We can’t overlook anybody on our schedule, but the biggest challenge is probably going to be Iowa City Regina. They bring back a lot of playmakers and that’ll be a good game.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“Our season opener is Denver, and we didn’t get to finish the full game last year because of storms, so I am definitely looking forward to our first game.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“The two sports I’d want to play in college are football and baseball.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Right now, I’ve just gone on a couple of junior day visits to Upper Iowa and Simpson.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I plan on going to a couple game day visits in the fall.”

What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“Right now, I am going to the Iowa State camp and am planning on attending one of the Iowa linemen camps.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve always been an Iowa Hawkeye fan growing up. With everyone around here, it’s either Iowa or Iowa state for the most part.”
