What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Recently I’ve found a guy that I train with and we workout two days out of the week and we work on speed and cutting and hip movement and lateral movement and all those type of things as well as running routes and developing me as an offensive weapon, combining that with lifting everyday as well with my team.”
What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“I feel like so far this offseason I still have a lot of work to do and things to work on of course but I believe I’ve gotten better feet faster and quicker feet as well as moving well laterally and of course I’m always working on running crisp routes as well.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“I feel great about my team and about our schedule. I genuinely believe we can turn around the Lincoln football narrative as well as turn some heads this season.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I don’t want to say a team that we will have trouble against because at the end of the day the only way people that can beat us is us so we just have to lock it in and execute. We've shown flashes that we can do it but now we have to get consistent.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Of course I do want to play football in college and really any school that will give me a chance, my dream school although has always been Oregon and after a recent camp with Kansas State I really liked them as well.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“The colleges that are recruiting me and I’ve been talking to are North Dakota, North Dakota state, UNI, Minnesota state, Wayne State, Augustana, Wheaton College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, university of Mary, and Bemidji State.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made some colleges trips to Augustana and Mid-American Nazarene.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I do have plans for more trips, basically all the schools I just listed.”
Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed
“I have, I’ve been to ISU, K state, and Mizzou and I feel like I performed very well in all 3 out of all those camps. I was only defended well one time during 1-on-1s.”
Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“Yes more coming in July hopefully like NDSU, UNI, ND and some others hopefully.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, when my dad introduced me to football, and I started enjoying football and watching it Oregon was always the team that stood out to me, and I loved Oregon.”
