How did the high school football season go overall?
“The high school football season was a huge turn around for Des Moines Christian this year. We went from 1-8 to 6-3 and barely missed the playoffs. We made huge improvement in the off-season and the work paid off.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Once I finish track season, I plan to lift this whole off-season through the team lift and gain a lot of weight for next year.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“As a player, I’m trying to improve mostly in the weight category and get a lot stronger this off-season.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“This season for DMC football, I feel that it will be the best season in school history. We improved our record by five games in one season and our senior class is very strong and has a ton of experience.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The toughest opponent next year will be probably PCM. Last year they won state and had a very good team.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I am hoping to play college football and this season will reflect huge on how that turns out for me.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been recruited by Iowa State, Illinois State, Minnesota State Moorhead, Wayne State, St. Cloud State, and Bethel.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Minnesota State Moorhead.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I am visiting some of those colleges soon for junior days.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up has always been Iowa State.”
