How did the basketball season go for your team?
“This season was beyond what most people, including ourselves, thought it would be. Many people thought we would get bottom half of our conference and win a few games, but we turned out to be a 15 plus game winning team. We won some games that most people thought we weren’t going to win and made a pretty good run in the postseason.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My current workout plans are to get in the weight room around three times a week.”

What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“This off-season, I would like to get in the gym more whenever I can. With playing baseball during the summer, it’s harder to want to get in the gym.”

How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“Next year, I think we will do very well. We have three returning starters and an athletic defender. We just need to find a fifth man and we’ll go and compete.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“Our toughest game for our next year schedule will either be Wapsie Valley or Aplington Parkersburg.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“I want to pursue baseball in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had many colleges asking me to go to camps like Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Indiana, Ohio, South Dakota State, University of Virginia, and Richmond.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say that all of the colleges are recruiting me the same.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I went to Iowa and Alabama State University.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I have no camps planned yet since baseball season is during the summer.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve always enjoyed Wisconsin, but they don’t have a baseball program anymore. Iowa is also another favorite.”
