What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts and sports?
“This off-season, I have been working out as much as I can at home and at the gyms. For sports, I have been going into a gym for workouts early in the morning and working out with my basketball trainer.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“This offseason, I am really trying to improve on my outside game a little bit more as well as my shooting such as my pull up shot, my 3pt shot, and ball control.”
Are you trying to play AAU if it opens up this summer?
“If AAU was to open back up, yes I would be playing AAU basketball. I recently joined a team called MidPro Academy where we will be attending a lot of live events to improve our game.”
What are your goals for the AAU season?
“My goals for AAU is to go out there and play every game like it’s my last and lock up a scholarship before my high school basketball starts, but at the same time, go out and play the game and have fun.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“Next high school season our team is going to be very good. All of the players have been putting in the extra work this offseason because next season our plan is to go undefeated in the MAC.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2020-2021?
“The toughest game on our schedule is probably Senior, but this is going to be our first time playing them next winter. As a team, we are not going to back down from nothing.”
Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this winter?
“The toughest player that we have to go against in the winter I’ll have to say it’s Emarion Ellis, a 6’7 guard that can basically do everything. As a team, we have to do a good job of locking him down.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“After high school, I still plan to go to college and continue my basketball career.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have a few colleges that have shown an interest in me like Southwest Minnesota, DMACC, Alabama A&M, Louisiana Tech, and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. There has also been Minot State University, the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and Baker University. These are a few more.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“As of right now, I have not made any visits yet.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I have received a lot of invites to some camps, but I haven’t gotten a chance to attend some of them because of all the stuff that has been going on.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, my favorite was Kansas. I went up there for AAU my freshman year going into my sophomore year and I really liked their coaching staff and the program there.”
