How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went great. For us losing so many key seniors last year, we shocked many by going 6-3.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plan is to put on weight and work on my craft. With football being my only goal now, I just want to make sure I put the work in, so when it comes time, it will be hard for me to be overlooked.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“My biggest goal is to become a leader that the team needs. The past two years were kind of difficult, but now it's truly my time.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like our team will be competing for a playoff spot once again. Our team is hungry and most of us have had the feeling of letting our playoff dreams slip through our fingers.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Our schedule has come out, but I still feel like our biggest obstacle will be ourselves. As long as we stick to our game, play for each, and not worry about the name on the jersey across from us, we'll be solid.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Ultimately my goal is to play in college and compete. I want to be that idol that the kids in my town look up to.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've been hearing from Iowa State, Iowa, Northern Illinois, and South Dakota State.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“As of right now, no colleges have invited me over for a visit, but I hoping they start inviting me soon so I can take those trips.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, sports weren't big in my house, so whenever sports were on, I never really cheered for a specific team. I mainly just watch to learn the game.”
