“I’m just doing upper body lifting after I broke my foot at UNI camp. I am just doing upper body workouts.”
What happened with the foot?
“I was doing the L-drill and during change of direction it broke.”
How long are you out for?
“The doctor said two months but I’ll be cutting it close with the season. I go back on the 14th and I can finally walk on it.”
How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in North Scott?
“They are going to be pretty good. They have some talented guys coming back and a good running back. We have to look out for him but we should be alright.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“It is still Iowa State for now. North Dakota State came to my school and there were four Division II schools.”
What were the Division II programs?
“Winona, Wayne State, Concordia St. Paul, and Minnesota State Mankato.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say Iowa State is looking at me pretty hard. They are contacting me a lot but we’ll see what happens.”
