What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“Lately, I’ve just been pushing myself to my breaking point constantly, whether it is conditioning or lifting weights. That has been my key with my workouts all off-season so far.”
What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“The one thing I’ve improved upon the most I would say is my IQ. I’ve been going back and watching a lot of film from last season and looking deeply into what I did wrong and some of the things I did right. Then I go out and I work on them both, until it’s muscle memory.”
What are your areas of focus going forward?
“My primary areas of focus going forward are to do whatever I can as a teammate to help or push my teammates to success and to try and get not only them but myself ready for this upcoming season.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I feel like our team next year will be one of the more conditioned and mentally ready teams in the state because of our numbers. But that’s where we find our strength. Our coaches will make sure that we will be ready, that’s for sure.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“I think our toughest game will be Xavier. We have them on the road again and in the past couple of times we have played them, it hasn’t gone in our favor.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“This is a tough question, but I would love to play either baseball or football in college. If I had to choose one, it would be football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No colleges have contacted me personally yet.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I will be attending Nebraska’s Friday Night lights camp, Iowa’s Hawkeye state showcase, and Prep Football America’s 2018 National Collegiate Combine Series in Chicago, IL.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
