How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“This summer, I played for All Iowa Attack’s 15u team. We played pretty well through the course of the season, and in most tournaments, you would see us winning lots of games. We definitely had improved from the beginning of the season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Getting ready for the upcoming high school season, I’m going to get as many shots up as I can. Along with doing physical workouts with Ryan Smith. He is a great trainer and will push me to become a better athlete.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“The thing I’ve most improved on this offseason has to be my attacking and finishing. This has impacted my game a ton and keeps defenders off balance. When shots aren’t falling, I can still score affectively.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“This can be a big season for us. We have a lot of players that are returning and now have experience. I think with the team we have we have a shot to make it to the state tournament.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“We have a very tough conference and all of our games are going to be a challenge. Norwalk, I think will be the toughest team to play.”
Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“Norwalk has Bowen Born who can do it all. He can shoot the ball from deep and attack the rim very well. Xavier Foster is also a very good player who is 7-foot and makes it hard to attack since he is a shot blocker.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I’ve always wanted to play college basketball at a high level and that’s what I’ve been working for.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’m just starting to hear from most schools since June. Belmont came to see me play in Milwaukee and I’ve had the most contact with them so far.”
