“It is good. We are definitely playing like a team. We are playing all four-quarters, unlike last year. We played all four quarters against Pella and it ended up good.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“We just want to what we got going. We have to prepare like we did for Pella. We got a district game this week and we want to just win.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Greene County?
“I know that they go two defensive ends that are tall. If we play our game and do what we did against Pella, we can come out with a W.”
What has stood out within the district?
“I haven’t been really looking at other teams. I’ve been focusing on where my job is and my team. We are really hoping we can get to the Dome.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There are a lot of Division II schools; Upper Iowa, Chadron State, Southwest Minnesota State, Wayne State, Minnesota State, Coe, Dordt, Northwestern, and Central. There is quite a bit.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Coe is definitely hard, Upper Iowa, Southwest Minnesota State, Chadron State, Dordt, Northwestern, and all of those schools are coming at me pretty hard. It is pretty equal.”
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“I am trying to get to the ones that are really talking to me and are really interested. I don’t want to go to a school and visit if they are not talking to me. I don’t want to waste my time.”
