How did the basketball season go for your team?
“It went pretty well. We made it to the state tournament and weren’t expected to. We were happy to make it there. It was a good season overall.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I have been running track and playing basketball with Kingdom Hoops.”
How has Kingdom Hoops been going?
“We have been playing well at times and horribly at other times. We are up and down a lot. We have been getting better. Heading into July, hopefully we’ll be pretty good.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll be pretty good as a team. We lose a couple of guys but if we commit ourselves, we’ll have a successful year next year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“We play in a very tough conference. Most games are tough but the hardest games next year will be Norwalk, Oskaloosa, and Pella. They are always good.”
Do you want to play basketball in college?
“Yeah, I would enjoy playing in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Not really much has been happening. I know the Simpson coaches talked to my high school coach and I’ve gotten letters about camps.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’ll probably go to a couple of Elite camps in June. I got invited to Upper Iowa so probably that one. I’m not sure about any others.”
