How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went better than last year with two more wins, but we definitely could've ended with around 3 more wins if we would've fixed little mistakes and mental errors. “

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I'll be playing golf and wrestling freestyle and Greco this spring and summer. Alongside that, I'll be working out 5 days a week trying to get bigger and faster for the upcoming season.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I'm trying to grow mentally as a player. The right mindset will help me and the players around me, so if I can focus in better, I'll perform better with them following. Pushing through walls mentally will be a game changer.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think that we are a promising team with some upperclassman leaders with a lot of playing time, so we could end up doing better than most expect.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“To be honest, I haven't even looked at the schedule for next year and I don't really plan to. I'm going to take it one game at a time treating every team the same, doing what myself and the team needs to do to win.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“My hopes are to play college football somewhere.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've been in contact with colleges such as Grand View and Grinnell College, and I've received a lot of places inviting me to their camps, especially on the eastern side of the country.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I've had the most contact with Grinnell College so far.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any trips yet, but I will be attending Grinnell College for their Junior day that I was asked to attend.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon??
“I don't have any other trips lined up at the moment, but I'm open-minded about it and wouldn't mind taking more.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I always liked Iowa State because that's where my mom went to school.”
