What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“We have been doing three-workouts during the week in the morning and then we have football weights.”
What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“I’ve bene trying to just keep improving my footwork and strength. Those are the biggest things right now.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We return me and Trevor Downing and that will be big for the offensive line. We’ll have some good skill positions. We should be pretty solid.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Probably Glenwood or Harlan. We are looking forward to playing against them.”
How do you feel about your first opponent of the football season in Boone?
“Last year we opened with them and played them in the first round of the playoffs but lost to them in the last thirty-seconds. I am sure we will use that as momentum because it has been eating at us.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“For DI, I’ve had Iowa State, UNI, North Dakota State, and I talked to Iowa a little. There has been South Dakota State as well. For Division II, I’ve had the University of Sioux Falls, Augustana University, and Northwest Missouri State.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Augustana kind of. Then I got another school and that would be Minnesota State University. The most I’ve talked to is Iowa State and UNI. It is picking up quite a bit.”
Have any college coaches visited your school this spring?
“Iowa State has bene here, Iowa, Missouri, Northwest Missouri State, Augustana, South Dakota State, North Dakota State, and pretty much all of them.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I plan on hitting all of the in-state Division I schools like UNI, Iowa, and Iowa State. I might do one or two out of state. We are also doing a team camp at Northwest.”
