How did the high school football season go overall?
“This past season was rough by all means. We had a team of 11 sophomores and a freshman. We battled every day, but sometimes couldn’t get the job done.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am doing track and baseball right now. I will be attending three Iowa football camps this spring.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Last year as a sophomore quarterback, I wasn’t very vocal. This year, I really want to improve on being a leader and stepping up in clutch situations. I want to let teammates know they can rely on me.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Next season, our team is going to be well prepared. I have been working with three wide receivers in my class. We have a new coach and I am well prepared for the season.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“The North Scott Lancers. They are always really tough, and everyone should know that. They lost a lot of seniors, but I am ready for it.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I would love to play sports in college. Right now, I am undecided on what sport, but I have received the most recognition through football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Small schools have shown interest in me since I am a young quarterback with the size.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips. I plan on doing most of that my sophomore summer and junior year.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite athlete has always been Lebron James. I love his integrity and leadership on the court at all times.”
