How is the basketball season going?
“It’s going alright. I think that we are finally coming together and playing team basketball.”
What can your team improve on?
“I think ball movement is definitely something that could use some improvement. We just have to have our heads up, look for the open guy, and making the smart pass as opposed to the hard pass.”
What do you know about your next opponent in South Tama?
“We know that South Tama is a scrappy team. They’re going to be going for steals and blocks all game. They also have two guys that we have to be worried about for different reasons. All they have played on defense the last time we played them was 1-2-2 and they’ve been doing that for the whole year, so we can probably be expecting that.”
Based on results so far, who appears to be the best team in your conference?
“South Tama has definitely been playing well. They’re just a solid team and they don’t make many mistakes, so I think it’s them.”
Do you want to play basketball in college?
“Playing basketball in college is definitely a goal of mine. I really want to go and play ball somewhere.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There haven’t been any colleges to contact me. “
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Nope.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’m not sure. I’m hoping to make it to Snow Valley and possibly the Courtside Films camp, but with baseball, it’s going to be hard.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My parents are big Hawkeye fans, but my cousin and I have been North Carolina fans since Marcus Paige was there.”
