How did the high school football season go overall?
“Our season was a good season. We had some great seniors to lead us. We had some ups and downs and games that we should have won, but overall, we did our job pretty well this year.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“We have an hour and a half of a lifting class every morning with some great coaches that push us. A lot of our athletes are in there and it’s a great class. I’m going to be wrestling this winter also.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“In this offseason, I’m looking to work on my footwork and my hand placement, which I believe wrestling will help me a lot with both of those.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we will be a solid team next year out of our offense line, we only had one senior. We lost one of our best reserves and one of our best running backs, but I believe we have some great young talent that will fill those spots well and do a good job.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“I think if we play Treynor next year, they will be tough. Greene County will be a tough one next year too.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’m looking to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have only been talking to a few colleges. I hope to get down and see NWMSU sometime soon and some more colleges have been talking to me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I am hoping to go one a visit down to NWMSU here soon and maybe a few more in the future.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I have always been a fan of NWMSU because my mom played basketball there and they are close to home, but I like watching Iowa State, Iowa and Nebraska.”
