How did the AAU season go for you during the off-season?
“AAU season went really well. I really saw improvement in my game, and my chemistry with my Xavier teammates that played on the team went up.”
How have preseason workouts been going for the season?
“Preseason workouts have been going great. There is lots of focus on getting us used to basketball shape before the season and lots of game shots while fatigued.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“I think the confidence in my shot has really improved since last season. I’ve just been getting in every day, even if it's just for a little while.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be this season?
“I believe if we really buy in to what Coach Freeman is teaching us, then this team has the ability to be something really special come spring-time.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule?
“I believe the toughest game on our schedule will be probably be against Cedar Falls. They are just a model of consistency and they reload every year, no matter who they lose.”
Who do you open the season and what are your thoughts on them?
“We open the season against Mount Pleasant. I'm not too familiar with the team, but we are going to treat every game with the same focus no matter the opponent.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“I would love to play basketball in college if the school was the right fit for me.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I got interest from the University of Chicago in the summer and a few other D-3s.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not taken any college visits yet.”

“Growing up, my favorite college was North Carolina. I loved watching the pace they played the game at, and how they always seemed to have fun with it.”
