How did the football season go for your team?
“We started off pretty solid but hit a rough patch against Cedar Falls. The playoffs were a wakeup call knowing we were not unbeatable. It still went good as a team. We made it to the semifinals against Iowa City West and that was just a game where we didn’t play our best.”

What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Most of the football players are doing track to get into shape. Our track coach is also our new head coach. We also have some guys in soccer. We are doing lifting in the morning and then a sport in the afternoon.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We are losing some key guys but I think we can do just as good. I won’t lower expectations because we are losing some key players. We have people that can fill those roles. We’ll get better too.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“The toughest game will be Bettendorf. They are always getting new guys coming in and being just as good as the old ones.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“Yes I would. I actually would go anywhere that wants me to come.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I went on a couple of visits to Coe and Upper Iowa. Other than that, it is small. I am hoping that this year I can get more of a spotlight.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I haven’t decided which camps I’ll be looking at this summer. We need to sort through that.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college I was rooting for was Wisconsin. My parents are from Wisconsin and I was born and raised into it.”
