“I think it has been going fine. We fell to Wash but have regrouped and are getting a lot better.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Iowa City West?
“They are a great team. They have a good quarterback and Doyle. He is pretty good. His dad is at Iowa. They also have a great receiver. If we play our game, it’ll be fine.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“I believe just playing Kennedy football. We have to believe in what our coaches have prepared for us. We have to believe in what we have done so far.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah, I have a brother that played for Oregon. I want to play.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“My freshman year, Iowa and Iowa State came in to Kennedy and talked to me a little bit.”
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“No. That has been it so far.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, it was Iowa. My brother went to Oregon and I favored them a little bit.”
What have you learned by seeing your brother go through the recruiting process?
“I think the biggest aspect is getting outside of Iowa. He believes that I am very talented and I should play somewhere out of state. I believe that as well.”
