What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have been lifting every day in school and after school twice a week. Then we have captains’ practice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“Definitely my 1v1's like me going against a solo tackle or outside guard, but if I had to say something else, probably my footwork and speed of my feet.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Probably just trying to get my technique perfect and my speed up. You can always get better you’re your technique.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Way better. We got kind of screwed last year. We had a few key positions that we really had no one to fill.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“West Des Moines Valley or Bettendorf.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“The Jefferson Jayhawks. I think we will do great. We never had trouble with Jeff, and they are our first game, so everyone is always in the right mindset.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“UNI, USD, NDSU, Drake, and BSU. None of them have offered, but they said they will once I get one from smaller colleges.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Probably UNI or USD.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I have been to all I have listed above and have a few more like ISU and a few small D2's.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, they are inviting me to come up all the time.”
What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“All the colleges I listed above plus the University of Iowa and the Chicago land camp.”

“Not really. I watched Iowa games, Iowa State, and a few UNI games growing up, so no.”
