How has the season been going so far?
“This season been a roller coaster. We started out solid, then hit a couple rough patches, and also hit a couple hot patches. We feel like we've turned a corner as of late and are trending in the right direction.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Two things that need to happen to reach our goals. We have to shoot the ball better and rebound.

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We've focused at practice over the past two weeks on this immensely. We've spent about 60% of time at practice working on not giving up offensive boards. This has got to carry over to games if we want to achieve our goals.”

What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Our goal is to get to Des Moines. It's been that and hasn't changed since June. We got a very deep substate, but we feel like 4 or 5 teams can make it out. We believe in ourselves enough that we believe if we shoot it and board it well enough, we can make it out.”

What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've gotten letters from a few DIIs and a couple NAIAs. It has not been much more than an introduction letter asking for more information about me and giving me info on their program. Iowa Lakes CC is the only school that has consistently reached out to me. They offered me on my visit.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Iowa Lakes CC.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State has always been mine and my family’s favorite team.”
