How has the season been going so far?
“This season has been going exceptionally well. Our team has been locked in and focused to play every week. We really like where we are at right now.”

What are your thoughts on Indianola in the first round of the playoffs?
“I think it’s a tough test right out of the gates with them. You know they will be ready to play and will be a very solid team.”

How do you feel about your playoff draw?
“I think it was a fair draw. I don’t really know what goes in to determining who is in what bracket, but I think all of the brackets are full of great teams.”

What are the biggest keys for your team to make a playoff run?
“We just have to stay focused on the next game. It is really easy to look ahead and talk about the state championship and who you might play in upcoming weeks, so we can’t lose focus on Indianola this week.”

How do you feel you have been playing this season?
“I feel like I have been doing what I need to do to push this team forward. My receivers are helping me a lot by making plays, especially with the O-Line giving me time to make my reads and make throws.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“My dream is to play college football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“So far, I do not really have any schools contacting me or recruiting me very hard. I just get those mass emails that everyone gets.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any trips yet.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite school has always been Iowa State. I loved and still love going up to Ames to watch them. I’m happy to say I stuck with them through all the tough seasons.”
