“It has been going very well. We have a lot of speed at every position.”
Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“Prairie. We beat them last season, but it’s a new year and we don’t take anyone lightly.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“We need to make sure we play consistently, make sure we all do our jobs, and give our best effort every play.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think just getting 1% better every day and pushing each other will get us to where we want to go.”
What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Just like every other team, we want to make it to the championship. However, we need to take one game at a time. There is no use in looking ahead.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, football.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Truman State University, Quincy University, the University of Central Missouri, Concordia-St. Paul, William Jewell, St. Thomas, Wayne State College, Luther College, and Southwest Minnesota State University.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest (skip question if this does not apply)?
“Quincy has offered me along with Luther College. However, Truman State, Central Missouri, and SWMS have been the most consistent.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Not including junior day, I’ve visited Quincy, Truman State, and Concordia-St. Paul.”
Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“The only ones I know for sure right now are unofficial visits to Kansas State University, Southwest Minnesota State, St. Thomas, and Quincy.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“The University of Northern Iowa. I grew up going to the games and my dad is a professor there.”
