What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“At the beginning of summer, I started the Iowa Western Community College lifting program with a couple of former teammates who are attending there this summer. I’ve continued the program ever since they left as well.”
What do you feel you have improved on the most since football ended?
“I feel I’ve improved the most on my foot work as a linebacker, being a leader, and taking responsibility for my team.”
Who do you open the football season with? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“Our season opener is against Monticello. I don’t know much about them or who’s back for them, but it’s a rivalry game. It’s going to be a good battle.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think our team is going to be in the running for a playoff spot. We have the athletes and a pretty solid line to get us to the postseason. We just need to play Cascade football and things will take care of its self.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“In my opinion, I think West Branch and Beckman are going to be the toughest games on our schedule. They are both known to have good football programs.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Football is my favorite sport and as of right now, I’m planning on continuing my football career. However, with the success I had this baseball season, I may find myself continuing my baseball career if the price is right.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve had some recruiting action from Iowa State, UNI, Winona State, Minnesota State, Upper Iowa, and I have an offer from Wayne State.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been on a visit to Iowa State and Winona State, but I plan on continuing visiting more soon.”
What camps did you attend this summer? How did the camps go overall?
“My camp tour started off at a combine in Cedar Rapids, then I attended Iowa State, and then UNI. All three went really well. I thought I competed very well and had a good camp season.”

“Growing up, I was born and raised a Hawkeye fan.”
