How did the football season go for your team?
“I feel our team had a pretty good season. Our coach did a really good job with the team.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I’ve bene playing a lot of sports. I’ve been playing basketball and am going into track. I am learning a lot from there. I am getting into the weight room quite a bit. I’ve been playing baseball on weekends.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I would say I am trying to improve my speed and overall strength.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll be a pretty good team. We will definitely be a team to contend with. I think we’ll turn some heads next year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“We got two tough district games with Pella and Norwalk. I’d say Pella because they have been on such a streak.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“Yeah.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve seen a little bit of attention with emails and letters. I have had Yale and a few Ivy League schools. It has been Harvard, Penn, Drake, Grand View, Oklahoma Baptist, and just a few.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“No, I was invited to a few junior days but I haven’t been able to make any.”
