How did the high school football season go overall?
“It didn't go as I wish it would have. We graduated a lot of players last year, so as a team going into the season, we knew it was going to be a growing year, yet we ended with a record of 4-5. Going into the year, I knew I wanted to start both ways and that’s what I got.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Currently as a team, we have weights in the mornings Monday, Wednesday, and Friday before school. On Tuesday and Thursday, we have agilities in the mornings also. Track practice is after school every day and baseball practices here and there.”

What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“Running my feet after making initial contact. Last year, I worked on reading keys and filling gaps.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We will be returning a lot of players and we all know what is expected in that varsity position.”

Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“Lewis Central. They had a good program last year and I feel like they will be a good competition again this year.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“No schools have tried to recruit me.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“No.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa State. My family has always been a fan and I enjoy watching them play.”
