How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“Summer went great. We really started to come together as a team towards the end of the year and made a nice run in the finals on the circuit.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“I will try to get about 2-3 workouts in a week for basketball during football season just to stay up with it and stay in the right shape.”
What have you improved on the most since last season?
“Definitely my strength and getting bigger. I feel like my post game has taken huge strides since last year.”
How do you believe your high school basketball team will be next season?
“We should be very good. We lost last year in the substate final and we return 4 starters along with 2 more guys coming in that didn’t play last year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2019-2020?
“We play in a very good conference so no game is very easy, but the toughest game in my opinion will be either Monticello or Regina. Both of those teams are going to be very good teams.”
Who is the toughest individual player you will play against this season?
“Probably Masen Miller. That kid is a very good basketball player and really took it to us last year in both games.”
What sport do you want to play in college?
“Basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I currently hold 4 offers from Kirkwood, Truman State, Briar Cliff, and Midland. Minnesota-Duluth, UW-Oshkosh, Illinois-Springfield, and SMSU are all showing interest too.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say probably SMSU and Kirkwood.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I visited Briar Cliff and plan on taking some more coming up.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Iowa.”
