How did the high school football season go overall?
“The football season went very well. We were the first team in Camanche history to make it to the Dome and also the first team ever from Clinton County.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I play baseball, basketball and run track as well as football, so I’m just trying to make it in the gym after my practices every day.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think we have a chance to be very strong next season as well, especially if we can develop some underclassmen like we hope to do.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think if our districts align, Anamosa has some potential to be a real solid team as well as West Liberty.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I think Josiah Galvan from West Liberty will be one of the toughest challenges our defense will face.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I have not decided on my college plans quite yet, but it looks like football is leading the way if I do decide to play a sport.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have not necessarily been in contact with too many schools, but I have received some direct messages from the Iowa Central coaches as well as the Wayne State coaches.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet, but I do have two brothers that play football at Grandview University, so I make frequent trips to watch them play.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“I do not have any visits set up quite yet, but hopefully in the springtime I can get my film sent out to some more coaches and recruiting will pick up a bit then.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, my favorite college was Wisconsin. I’ve always enjoyed watching them play.”
