How did the basketball season go for your team?
“We had struggled a little bit early but we finished the season strong going into districts. We just didn’t come ready against Ar-We-Va and got pretty good. I think we had a pretty successful season.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“Right after basketball, I did track and was busy with that. I’ve been playing AAU tournaments with Tryon’s Gym and then I obviously get in my own workouts. I am trying get inside and work on my skills.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I’ll be a senior next year and looking forward to college I need to put on weight. I’ve been focused on trying to get my weight up. I try to improve as much as I can.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“We’ll be a younger team than we were but I feel we have a good group that is coming up. We will have a solid core of younger guys that are working hard and want to be successful. I am really excited.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Obviously with Ar-We-Va losing their seniors, they won’t be as tough but they still have a great program. Elk-Horn will be tough and CAM will still be tough.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Briar Cliff has shown me quite a bit of attention. Central and Dordt just started showing me more attention. I received some mail from Sioux Falls and Morningside.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say Briar Cliff or Central.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“For individual camps, I’m going to the Central elite camp the first or second week in June. I am going to the Dordt camp in the middle of June.”
