“It has been really great. Hopefully we can keep coming out strong and get it done.”
What areas can your team improve on?
“It is starting out strong. In some games, we have had slow starts. We need to play our game and not let our foot off the gas.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Dallas Center-Grimes?
“As far as I know, I know that they have a strong team. From what I know, they don’t have anyone playing on both sides. They’ll be fresher so we have to get in shape for the game. We have to come out and play hard against them.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“We have to play hard until the finish. Like I said, we have to come out strong and not start slow. We can’t have any dumb penalties. I think that we’ll be fine.”
Do you want to play football in college?
“Definitely. No question.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Yeah, there has been a little bit. I get emails from Simpson and some other smaller schools like Grand View. There are some other ones.”
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“Just a few weeks ago, I went to Colorado for one of their games. I went to a camp and have been in contact with one of their coaches to get recruiting passes.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“It is Colorado and also Iowa State.”
