How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“The football season has been going very well for how new of a team we have. This being my first year and some others along with some new starters. The goal is 6-3 now as we are trying to squeeze into the playoffs and make a run which I think is a success for how new our team is.”

Who is your next opponent? What are your thoughts on them overall?
“It is Graettinger-Terril, which I don’t know a lot about. I know if we play our game and play our potential, we shouldn’t have a problem.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Some keys moving forward is building on what we’ve learned and improved on and putting it all together to get 2 big wins to end the season. We have to be ready if we are to squeeze into the playoffs.”

What are your goals for the rest of the season?
“Goals the rest of the season are getting 2 wins by a good amount and making the playoffs. Then we will play whoever we play next after that in a tough game.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I do want to play sports in college. I’d like to play basketball, but I’m still fairly young in recruitment so anything can happen.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“A wide range of schools have reached out for basketball from smaller schools who want me and have expressed a ton of attention to a lot of D1s who I’ve visited and who have come to open gyms such as Utah State, UNI, South Dakota State, North Dakota, Loyola Chicago, University of Nebraska Omaha, Chicago State and some others.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say probably South Dakota State and UNI have been in on me the hardest. Also, for football, North Dakota State has reached out.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve made visits to Iowa, Iowa State and UNI for basketball.”

Do you have plans for game day trips this fall?
“No game day trips are planned yet, but my options are always open.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college growing up has been Iowa.”
