“We've been doing team workouts every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday with conditioning afterwards. On Tuesday, we have 7on7 games against local schools for a couple of hours.”
What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I've been working on my quickness and speed through the workouts at school and some of the camps I've gone to.”
What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“I'm trying to improve on becoming a physical blocker on the line. Our o-line coach said he's going to help me work on that before the season starts.”
Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We're on the road against our cross-town rival, Pleasant Valley. They always have a good team and it's always fun to play against them.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have offers from Western Illinois, Southern Illinois, Indiana State, Minnesota State, and Missouri Western. I'm also receiving interest from Iowa State, Iowa, UNI, North Dakota State, and South Dakota State.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest (skip question if this does not apply)?
“I'd say the schools that have offered me have been showing the same amount of interest. Iowa State and UNI have also been recruiting me pretty hard.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I've had visits to Western Illinois, Iowa State, Iowa, North Dakota State, South Dakota State, and UNI.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I don't have any more planned visits before the season starts. I'll probably be going on some game day visits during the season.”
What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I went to Iowa State, Iowa, and UNI. They went great and I think I did very well at all three.”
