How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season wasn't what we all hoped it would be. Like not playing any home games and with all the covid protocols, it was a strange year. There were times where we could have played better and made better plays. We can learn from the losses we took this past year and improve to be better next year.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Now with football season over, I get up in the morning and attend the morning weightlifting program at my school. I also work with other receivers and our quarterback as much I can. I also compete in track and field now.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel like with all the hard work the guys have put in in the weight room will pay off big time. We all are motivated this year knowing we will have home games and a somewhat normal season again; we are ready for any task and are super excited for this season. We are going to be a great team.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Assumption will probably be the toughest team we go against this year. They ended last season 8-1 losing to defending 3a state champion North Scott by 3. They will be a tough team to go up against but we're ready for any challenge that comes our way.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I feel like Assumption's quarterback Ayden Weiman will be a tough player we face off against.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would love to play sports in college, preferably football, but track is always another option. I've always dreamed of playing at Ohio State for football but in all reality, I've found some interest in playing at Southern Mississippi University.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven't been recruited by any college right now. Hopefully after this coming season, I can get some coaches to notice me.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I haven't made any trips, but I will soon visit Iowa Western for a game day visit.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I've always been an Ohio State Buckeye fan. I love everything about the University and athletics.”
