What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“We have lifting and speed training 4 days a week, and I sling the ball around to some of the guys a few days a week as well.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like I have gotten faster and improved my lower body overall. This will benefit me by being able to maneuver around in the pocket and stay on my feet, and maybe run a little bit more too.”

What are you trying to improve on before the football season begins?
“Right now, I'm working on getting chemistry down with the guys and building the team chemistry as a whole.”

Who is your opponent in the season opener and how do you feel about them overall?
“We play South Tama week one and I feel like we have to go into every game with the same mindset. Last year was last year, so we need to come out and get off on the right foot.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I will be playing football in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I've gotten a little bit of FCS attention in the past few months. Yale, Princeton, and Colombia are a few Ivy League schools that I have talked to as well. Coe and Morningside have been looking at me as well.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I've talked some with the University of North Dakota the most.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“The only big trip that I made this summer was up to the Dakotas, as I hit a camp at USD on a Wednesday and went to one at UND the following day.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I do not plan on making any more trips as my focus now turns to the season ahead of me with the guys.”

What camps did you do this summer and how did they go?
“I went to camps all over the Midwest, including the states of Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Illinois. All of them were beneficial to me, as I bettered myself as a player and got to perform in front of college coaches.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I always watched the Iowa Hawkeyes play on Saturdays. It was back when Ricky Stanzi was leading the team.”
