How did the high school football season go overall?
“It went alright. It didn't end the way we wanted to with us not bringing home the hardware we wanted to, but we did some very good things this season.”
What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“The plan is to hit the weight room hard and get built back up for another strong push next season. I also plan on attending camps to get more attention for playing at the next level.”
What are you trying to improve on the most as a player?
“I would really like to get faster overall, but my main focus is strength. Improving my strength will help me take on more hits and stay on my feet.”
How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I believe we will compete with everyone on our schedule next season. Even though we are graduating a great class, I don't believe we will be any less successful this coming season.”
Who do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule next season?
“This past season, our only regular season loss came to Union. We did not play as well as we could have, so that date is for sure circled on the calendar. All in all though, we don't have a single team in our district that we can go into expecting to win. We have to go into every game with the mindset that we have to compete and follow the game plan.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I will be playing football after next season.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have attended camps all over the state and a couple in Illinois. I have had some contact with the University of Northern Iowa, but nothing major.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“No specific school has been recruiting me terribly hard throughout this process.
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any trips yet.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I was a huge Iowa Hawkeye fan. I knew all of the starters on both sides of the ball. I have also been a huge fan of the UNI Panthers as well.”
