What have you been doing as of late with your workouts?
“We just started a new workout at weights where we are lifting Monday through Friday. Monday and Wednesday are leg workouts and then Tuesday and Thursday are for upper body. On Friday, it is a combination. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we are going to start basketball workouts after lifting. Then on Tuesday and Thursday, we have football workouts after lifting.”

What have you improved on the most since football wrapped up?
“The biggest thing I improved on is my quickness. I really worked on my speed during track and. I ran a 5.1 40 last year and I just ran a 4.34 40.”

How do you believe your team will be next season?
“If everyone puts the hard work and effort in every day at weights and at practice, I think we will have a great season. We will only have a few seniors this year but we have lots of talent in our lower classes. I believe a lot of them will step up.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“I haven’t seen our schedule yet.”

Do you want to play football in college?
“Playing football in college is a dream of mine. Football is my favorite sport and it has been that way ever since first grade. I always think about playing college football and how great it would be to play on any level of college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There hasn’t been any colleges looking at me. I hope I can prove myself this year.”

What camps are you going to this summer?
“I am planning on going to a few camps this year, especially the Iowa Skills camp. Me and a whole bunch of my teammates are planning on going down there and making ourselves better.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I love the University of Iowa. I have been an Iowa fan all my life and it would be a dream to play for the Iowa Hawkeyes. I go to about three or four games a season and I just love the atmosphere in Iowa City. All around, playing at Iowa would be the greatest thing in the world.”
